Amerigroup Insures 100,000 Medicaid recipients in Maryland and D.C. In 2002, Capital Community Health Plan’s 26,000 members were added to Americaid.

Johns Hopkins - The Uniformed Services, Employer Health, Tricare, and Priority Partners plans are predominantly Baltimore-based, but also have approximately 100,000 members in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C.

MIN sites are positioned as the exclusive "overflow" sites for all Kaiser radiology services. Kaiser currently enrolls 500,000 members and refers to MIN radiology sites whenever the service is not provided at any Kaiser facility, or the patient requires an appointment earlier than available through a Kaiser facility.

MedEval - This local managed workers compensation program has also expanded into the Personal Injury Protection automobile insurance business, offering insurance companies a contracted network of providers. Patients are given an authorization voucher prior to their first appointment.

Private Health Care Systems (PPO and Workers Compensation) - This national PPO company has contracts with large self-insured employers, and has established national and regional provider networks to deliver healthcare services to 95,000 Washington metropolitan members.

UNICARE (HMO and EPO) - UNICARE is owned by Blue Cross Blue Shield of California, which purchased the healthcare subsidiaries of John Hancock and Mass Mutual nationally.
